handful of times I popped in there it seemed some amount of people were dissatisfied with the lack of discussion posts
it doesn't seem shrinemaiden is very active at least in touhou discussion posts either so we may finally be able to live in a world where the 10 pages is yukari maribel conversation happens in 2020 and also in the thought-to-be-extinct lunaticred forum lol
I do not know how basically any website with uses posts works so I probably won't be able to do a whole lot but thank you for asking for opinion

Reddit may be a place to try, I've never really used it so it's a tad foreign for me though.

my thoughts exactly. I'm thinking about a certain instance in which aeon invites people (whether or not they want to) to lunatic red TH17 forums. they might find out about some things, such as my project with sponleletor, my involvement in social media, and my real name. I'm worried. Reddit is a place where I went only once or a couple times however each visit is than the last. I'm thinking we keep this a place which only original touhou red lunatic users have seen or talked in. I like you guys. sometimes i know it may seem like I Don't Like You But In Reality I Do.

i was doing some super obscure touhou research and ended up here from something on the wiki that was sourcing the place. still haven't found out what was up with it but i kinda stopped worrying about it for a bit when i saw there was a dude here on the exact same day as me after years of inactivity. thanks again spongey

I also got here from the wiki except I was looking at the links page seeing what even survived over a decade of internet growth
this was one of two dead forums with an active link so I just posted to see what may happen
I was expecting to wait possibly months but 12 hours later aeon has appeared and everything has gone well

I didn't post here over scarlet devil mansion forum for any particular reason
so in an alternate universe it's SDM forum and lazulum still exists there as well lol

Was looking back at some old forums I used to browse back in the day, most are taken down but this one was still around. Saw Aeon, Sponge, and one other fellow still posting. I was delightfully surprised and joined in.

Edit: Oh, I guess I should include how I found it way back when.
This place I'm sure you know better than me used to be pretty big. It was really one of the two biggest Touhou forums, it was hard to not find it when searching for anything Touhou related.

@fujiwara no Mokou: i basically found this forum because i wasn't recreationally involved within practices. Swimming, basketball, anchoring, esports, questionnaires, cook books, new tv shows, and touhou comes at the last on the list. Which is why I'm here. noticeably small group which makes me want to stay. Although, I joined because Songlevator is here.

I found this Forum because I was good friends with the Founder and Creator of this Forum in the very days that it was spawned onto the face of the internet.
Though it's a damn shame I was never super Active considering how big it apparently got.
I've checked back in maybe once a Year since 2010, but only to watch and see how active things were.
I more often kept in touch with the people I was closest to through YouTube which could be used a lot more personally and like a Social Network in those years, as well as through Email and Private messages on this Forum.

My Biggest regret is not making any sort of significant effort to keep in touch with LunyRed as I entered new stages in my life.

Nice to see another member from way back.
I doubt we ever interacted, and I unfortunately did not interact much with Luny Red back then. I was a lot younger and was intimidated by the admin status. He always seemed very friendly though and was very well liked, I do remember that much.

I saw Sponge shared some of the places LunyRed is still active, I hope that aids you on your search.
