First things first, I like Captain Murasa Minamitsu. If that's not emphasized enough by my display name and signature.

I first knew about Touhou via random YouTube browsing and somehow stumbled upon Cirno's Perfect Math Class around a week ago. That was kinda enough to get me hooked, though while watching the games on YouTube, I initially thought "There's no freaking way I can do that." But hey, 1 week later, I have (almost) conquered IN on Hard, barred only by Eirin's Astrological Entombing spellcard.

I am nowhere near hardcore, but I can safely say I am somewhat moderately averagely good at Touhou. Now I almost never play my Starcraft 2 again ($60, bye) due to Touhou.

Typing this was awkward. Well, nice to meet all of you.

I'm not really good in the game actually, I've always attributed my successful runs to luck.

My first game was EoSD, which I failed miserably, so I ran to IN for a few days, got owned at Eirin's Hard mode, and went to SA. SA was so hellish (pun right there), I couldn't even get past Parsee on Normal, so I finally stopped at UFO and managed to reach up to Shou at Normal after 30 (un)successful tries to get past Ichirin Kumoi and the big angry cloud fist Unzan. I kinda took a break here for a few days since I stumbled upon this site and just reading the topics here before deciding to create an account in tribute to my most favorite character ever.

Oh, and thanks for the warm welcome. I appreciate it. ;D

And I wouldn't say talent in shooting games,
it's more like relative hand-eye coordination via a medium (zeh keyboard or controller). Some people have better judgments over path finding of an object, others over several objects, and some can't even tell if a ball is going straight at them.

Hello there! Dayum, you're making fast progress on the games already! xD Since you're so new to the fandom, I'll tell you that being part of this fandom is a blast. That stuff you found on Youtube is only the tip of the iceberg, my friend. As a Touhou fan, you'll never run out of fan-made stuff to keep you entertained. x3

Hehe, and now you've even abandoned "mainstream" games (i.e. Starcraft 2) for Touhou. And so, the addiction begins! ;D
