Well, I guess that was really... random.

As for stage 5 of UFO, I had so much trouble with it and the crazy yin-yang orbs that I ended up playing the stage around 10 times before consulting a YouTube Lunatic video of the stage. Then Shou blasted me with the curvy laz0rs of doom. Even if I survived that, the spinning lasers would finish the job for her anyway.

Subterranean Animism...screw my short term memory. I managed to get past Parsee once... then Yuugi broke my stride.

Taking a break from the danmaku games, I'm now playing Touhou Hisoutensoko. I'm not by any means good at it, I can't ever beat the 2nd Normal enemy in Arcade mode.

See, different people have different strengths! xD I'm not too good at either the fighting or the danmaku games, but I love playing them all. I also love the characters, the music, the setting, the plot, the general history of Gensokyo, the internet memes, doujins, fanart, the two unofficial anime adaptations... yeah. Once you get into Touhou, you can't get out! It looks like you've achieved in a week what it took most of us months or even years to complete though, congrats!

Also, CAPTAIN MINAMITSU MOTHER****ING MURASA. UFO's been one of my favourite games lately, although I'm back on a PCB kick at the moment. Regardless, Murasa is awesome.

I think that the fact that I could achieve this much in so little time is because I do lots and lots of research on a particular game before playing it. In Starcraft 2, I watched at least 100 YouTube videos casted by Husky and HD and also Day9's dailies before getting into the game and (I type the next part shamelessly) obliterated my foes.

Same goes for Touhou as well, when I got to know the game, I watched as many of the gameplay videos as I could. It certainly got me hooked, and I learned stuff like hitbox sizes and streaming from the videos.

I just like reading and watching things. >_< Thing is, I didn't really get to watch much Hisoutensoko stuff since there aren't too many videos on YouTube, which may be partly why I suck at it currently. Perseverance shall prevail however.
