I liked SSiB and the rest of bougetsushou (including thoroughly average jape manga) since it went into past history and also did the thing I always heard about there being no such thing as common sense in gensokyo and whatnot
just a pretty fun time and in a way I rarely see (and by that I mean I recall exactly zero things within or outside of touhou that are similar in the way of misinterpreting reality and having it become reality and combining magic and engineering)
it's like those ragecomics about generating infinite energy or defying gravity by sitting on a chair while picking it up
the rest of the mangas though
from what I recall WaHH and fairies and forbidden scrollery and lotus eaters are almost the exact same "group of constant characters have things happen to them" kind of thing especially considering I can only vaguely describe what happened in each one and have difficulty telling things that happened in them apart with my only accurate method being the ol reliable different artists
fairies is best and lotus eaters is pretty not entertaining but really these manga remind me why the average person isn't willing to choke down like 48 episodes of stardust crusaders or 300 episodes of lupin or whatever and both of those have almost famous characters and group dynamics so when I see three little foolish girls talking about gween tea and cawfee or pantsing the one person in gensokyo who wears pants or angering a pitbull named marshmallow and almost being mauled I just cannot bring myself to give my full undivided attention and respect to that
(ok actually I like it but it's definitely not a crowning achievement of mankind or anything)

I hardly remember it and 95% of it has nothing to do with zun at all but that cd man that's gotta be one of the best 2hu border between fanwork and official cds (population: one) I have heard
actually is good though satorimanga almost ruined the concept of months for me but this cd and the timeline fixed that
ok end of very villanous and preposterous opinions I have to say that I think the worst of touhou's artbooks or non-manga books or whatever are probably comparable to fairies in entertainment level
most of the real good stuff is in the artbooks I don't want to see reimu getting caught up in an absurdly minor and irrelevant incident for the 52nd time I want to hear about the threat level of the giant toad's pond
