I am big into fighting games, I play a lot of them often and am mainly someone who likes to have fun

And I've been getting interested at all sorts of fighting games like Darkstalkers, Tekkenofuckthat, all of the SNK properties (I didn't like Samurai Showdown, Idk if it gets better as the sequel rolls up)

And one came to my mind since TSUN made me once play it, saying it was similar to Melty Blood;

The Touhou 7.5 fighting game, and honestly I laughed when I first saw it, mainly for the sound effects, they were like so old and i could swear some were in rpg maker.

Then after cackling like that and beating TSUN Chan, I saw some friends played the not so new now touhou fighting game, Antimony of Common Flowers. It didn't really look fun, it looked like Dragon Ball Z Supersonic warrior in term of gameplay (the fighting game made by Arc system for the GBA and DS with 2) and I just didn't get why would this be so fun.

But maybe I'm an old crook!

Would you recommend the touhou .5/fighting games to someone ?

I aint much of a fightan but the newer touhou fighting games played like ass
like come on man there isn't even a floor how am I supposed to play my game with no floor

I always noticed that 12.3 (and to a lesser extent, 7.5) have what appears to be pretty active and dedicated fanbases and then the newer touhou fighting games kinda just do not
not to say people who like 15.5 don't exist (though I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't) but they are rare and scarce like vegetables in american diet
I think I looked for one out of curiosity and the most I saw was a couple local tournaments probably in such desired places as wyoming and detroit and the middle of the mojave desert or whatever
maybe it's not because the gameplay is ass but rather because the netplay is utterly abominable if everything is local I dunno

when I played the touhou fighting games with my friends who aren't touhou fans or fighting game fans they all seemed to like 12.3 enough for us to play it a few other times but nobody enjoyed 15.5 partially because there is no floor and partially because the movement feels like stretching a rubber band
so I would probably recommend 12.3 (because is fun) and 7.5 but not 15.5
