I was gonna say "what already didn't UM come out like a year ago why so soon" and then I checked and

apparently I was not aware 2022 was a thing

with 18-19 playables hopefully there will be a good selection of characters since we can finally move on from PoFV being the only reasonable multiplayer 2hu with this zun put satono and mai pls it will be funny i swear funny like the prismrivers they will shoot horizontally and backwards
I wonder if the reason ZUN didn't seem to care about making the PoFV online stuff work super well in the steam release (unless that was dealt with and I entirely forgot since I also forgot what thread that stuff was in) was because he was already planning on this one

demo finally released on steam only like five days later

for some reason it does not have a steam storepage but steamdb lets you download it so I did
turned it on played it yeah that's definitely a game

guest appearance of ramiel

got to stage 2 in which I played for far longer than stage 1 and nothing happened so I just ran into bullets instead of continuing to wait it out
no clue if anything past stage 2 would be available in a demo so eh
after trying to exit to the main menu the game promptly crashed and thus I make my post
