Greetings all! I hope you are doing well!
I'm buskerdog, and I've been an active user of the Moriya Shrine forums for a number of years now. I can't remember exactly how I came to learn of Lunaticred, but when I heard about another forum site that was popular way back in the day which I didn't know about, I decided I would have a look. Surprisingly it would appear there's been a resurgence of activity here, so here I am!
I've been a Touhou fan for nearly 4 years now, so although you could say I'm experienced, I certainly wasn't around back in the haydays of 2009~. I look forward to meeting fans both new and old here!
Also wow, this site really does look old, haha.

Can't see much of the old forum anymore, so we're really posting atop the (lost) graves of giants here. weird how people keep winding up here, but what can you do? Welcome aboard

hello welcome to forum
somehow I forgot moriya forums exists I see it every time I go there but I never actually looked at it some day I shall go take a look ok I took a look and yeah that is definitely a place
you can make forum look older by changing the theme to the one that looks like an intergalactic space station using a backup power generator or to the one with a giant photobucket in the background at all times and many blue/white lines designed to make you go "man who thought this was a good idea" both hurt your eyes but pain is required in the pursuit of knowledge

Also wow, this site really does look old, haha. Cool, someone else from Moriya. I was an active user on 1.0 before it got nuked back in the day over some myopic flaunting of the forum host rules by one of admins (long story). Is there activity at Moriya again? I remember a major lull a good bit back sadly. Anyways, welcome to LunyRed! What got you into Touhou 4 years ago? I had a worry sometime back that maybe the series had stopped attracting new fans and became something for the pre-established audience.

lazulum oof, I forgot this website existed for a few months lol. I've also just been kinda busy in recent life. But yeah, Moriya forums are pretty alive and well IMO. And the series is definitely still attracting new fans, I've met some over on the Moriya forums, honestly back when I joined the fandom I never thought about the time I'd be the veteran seeing new fans arrive lol. Anyway, as for how I got into Touhou, TLDR remixes that crossed over with other gaming franchises I was already familiar with. Actually, I could have gotten into Touhou several years sooner, but due to the inaccessibility of the games (especially back in those days) my digging didn't go very far and I just sort of forgot about it. But eventually I decided to revisit this whole Touhou thing properly and find out what it was, so I downloaded Touhou 6 and started playing. Loved it, have gone through every entry besides a few spinoffs since. I'm happy that nowadays ZUN is improving the accessibility of the series a lot more through steam.

The "oof" is now mine haha Got really busy, neared the end of a semester and the beginning of another; a very intense period for teachers.
You and me both, I still remember SA being the newest one; that one is ancient history now haha.
There are a lot of good remixes out there. Touhou is so multi-media that it can be hard to figure out where to even start haha. I remember trying to figure out what the heck it was when I first encountered it. Figured it was some kind of VN series at first haha That's right, they are releasing the games on Steam now, eh? That's good. Hopefully it brings more people from around the globe.
