Hi, my name is Woddles, and I got into Touhou because I was sick of seeing it everywhere and only knowing it from random songs on the soundtrack and memes. I have now played Touhou 6 EoSD and Touhou 7 PCB from the main series and have played Touhou Luna Nights before both of them. First off, these games have waaaay more to them than I gave them credit for. I've finished Touhou 6 and I'm trying to get a 1CC on it to unlock the 6th Stage. For Touhou 7 I have reached the final boss, though I have not beat it. As for Luna Nights, I could go for 100%, but I'm just not going to. 

I joined the forum cos a mate of mine called Hex joined and said it was pretty alright, so I took her word on it. She also came her because of their friend, so it's more like a friend told a friend to come along. Besides that, really enjoying what you've all done with the place. Looks pretty homely so far. 

Lastly, I've also just been getting into some random trivia to do with Touhou. Stuff like the interviews with ZUN about the fanbase and how he got into making the games all the way to random trivia like Marisa being a kleptomaniac. 

As for hobbies, I play piano and bass and make music using Orgmaker 2 (the DAW used to make Cave Story's OST) and FL Studio 20. The music I listen to tends to be video game soundtracks, pop music, electronic, rock, rap, breakcore...like a lot. If I had to choose a few of my favourite artists, it would be nelward, Tame Impala and FearofDark. I also play video games and love memes. On that last one, here are some of my favourite quotes from Touhou 6 ft. Reimu and Marisa:

breakcore, now thats pretty rad. i don't know nelward and fearofdark but i can agree with ya there tame impala is some real stuff

i'm a massive hypocrite since this is the only post i've made in a bit and i'm leaving dear spongelevator on read but i will fix that soon and anyway heres the basics:
- you can bump any thread you want whenever you want!
- nobody can tell you what to do
- there is a bit of fire emblem

good luck with the 1cc! i think things work a bit differently than you expect, though. you should always be able to access stage six on normal or above, but you can never access it on easy, even with a 1cc. unless im stupid
1cc does unlock extra which in eosd is gonna be fairly tough but hey theyre always neat
don't be afraid to come back to it later, though. i played every single windows game that was out at the time before i got any 1ccs

Thanks for the tip off on juicy information. I'll be sure to give savour it. I imagine it's like ZUN's music collections where there's a ton of his own stuff with a sprinkle of touhou in there, only the other way around in this case.

yeah something like that
a lot of touhou canon is within the literature
the artbooks are like mini encyclopedias and though they have intentionally and unintentionally inaccurate information (why) they tend to be an interesting read regardless (also probably the only details we'll ever get on some characters)

and manga allows you to get an idea of daily life in gensokyo so it pairs together nicely to learn about the world and characters I'd say
