Hi I'm Hex
I joined this forum thanks to a friend that said this was super chill.
I'm actually in a similar community but in french called Touhou-France that is pretty much similar to here but in french.

I discovered Touhou thanks to said friend who is TSUN by the PC-98 games, very cool games, my favorite among them might be Touhou 2 cause I just really like it.
I think we diverted into that because I talked about the fact I played those old Hydlide games that are particular. Then I played the windows games and haven't played further than Touhou 10.

My favorite character would be Reimu since I kinda saw her grow over the games and it a neat sensation.

I do a lot of things in my free time, I play guitar, make mods, do voice acting and singing and art in my free time and I love learning languages.

Edit: I forgot to say that I have a fumo, a Yukari Yakumo one in particular, I had thoughts of getting a new one recently but not sure which. I had a twitter account about this fumo called Yukamyth before the fumo community hit the fan.

I've got me best friend of yakumo yukarin! (in the worst timeline), the one, the only, usami lenko-san 
even went from raymoo->lenko just like the weird 2012 version of the meriberry->yakumo yukarin! theory

it really sucked ass to see secondhand prices go from like 30-70 bucks other than buying a ran/misuzu/whoever else was rare to the average price becoming one-hundred-and-thirty dollars and also this

been waiting two years to get a sanny for $30 like it used to be

anyway I pray that eventually gift stops selling on amiami (first sale was lmao though) and all the people who would pay $150 for a marisa go away and we can once again live in peace

Man, learning languages is a cool hobby. I have to get into that sometime. Right now been brushing up my economics to teach at high school. Had been a while so I had to dive deep into my old notes and texts so I could explain everything from utils, income/substitution effects, to different cost curves and marginal-based decision making of competitive firms and monopolies, etc.

What languages do you speak besides English and French? I'm guessing Japanese? Cool regardless of what it is!

I feel stupid it's easy to guess, Normally I used to tell myself that learning Japanese would be useless because apart of games, I'd have no use of Japanese, then one day I wanted to learn Brittain, I learned a bit of it and quickly realized that apart of grandmas in my region, nobody speaks Brittain. Right now for Japanese I'm learning the Katakanas after doing the hiraganas, I'm a bit worried I forgot the hiraganas because so far I haven't done any writing or talking yet. 0-0
I'm a bit hyped to interact with Japanese communities of animes that otherwise are dead outside. (ex: Hokuto no Ken, Ranma, etc..)

I got my Yukari for €30, I really like it and people told me I got lucky, people didn't believe me when I said I got it for €30. Guess they'll make great friends zee!

I guess we'll figure out what's going on here, I suppose it's chill for the most part.

Games aren't canon. 
Guess it will be another one of these exceptions where we let it slide 'cause it was said like that in vo.
Also to comment on games, remember how the DBZ games democratized the term "Mystic Gohan" for the Gohan full potential?
Guess games can be canon.

I do not know many examples of games creating canon within animes because the only animes I have seen that I remember getting games got crusty psp visual novel games that nobody will ever play such as uhhhh

Maybe you could take a trip to Japan sometime, would be cool entering the country with a working knowledge of Japanese, I think. Japanese writing takes time, but it also gets easier with time if you want to be literate in Japanese. Don't lose your patience in any case and find ways to keep your motivation.

I still see Hokuto no Ken in advertisements and such here in Japan. Although they are targeted toward an older demographic (it is an old anime).

Wait shit i'm so slow lmao, okay i love that video and i unironically want to get the EVA-01 running shoes because they look quite sick, I'm not too big on shoes but I am on sports though.

I will also add to this, there's this fucking EVANGELION computer tech shit that i saw recently and itt's really cool

(one thing that sucks though, is that the pc master race is always at war when it comes to components, they always insult each other or are rude to people because they always want to brag about how big their thing is or how keen their computer can run etc.
computer tech always grow rapidly and frankly, the graphics card you bought a month ago can be obsolete by then or your gpu as well but really, people shouldn't give a shit if it's just for a percent more or more RAM and stuff, if your computer can run and isn't sinking from the ground then it's cool. (also yeah it's obvious that they did a cool epic redesign to empty their stock of the last generation, don't forget you are buying for the evangelion design as well))
