ok since the second topic of this thread after the game I cannot beat is pehsona
and there is that one image there showing the sales of pehsonas in my previous post (doublepost time)
I am legally allowed to put this here for the potential one person who maybe might care about it

after many fatlus tweets about their uhh
their vtuber game

p3p+p5r are coming to "windows pc" (also xbox so lol these games are now on every system except for the nittendo switch)
now p3p is a weird ass choice and there is gonna be a bunch of arguments about p3p being better than FES now
not that I'll see any of them (I'm predicting right now I am fortune teller (real)) but unless the steam release says "added manual skill inheritance" there isn't any real reason to pick it over FES with controllable party member mod unless femc for second playthrough
nocturne PC port added skill inheritance so you don't have to reroll skills for 45 minutes so there is hope for this though

p5r is the one that would matter more because you can't emulate it
but then again it's still persona 5

persona-lly it don't matter to me because the best persona game is already on PC (catherine) and I didn't get it because I already played it on ps3/vita four or five times and I also already played the others but hey people have been port begging for persona games since what

oh god it's also been four and a half years since SMTV's first trailer in 2017 and I still can't play that and see my man despacito in the high quality (definitely didn't already see him in p5)

now I'll have to start port begging (lol) because the nvidia or whatever gforce whatever SMTV pc port rumor thing did not happen (yet?)

anyway yeah so that is something that may or may not matter because persona 5 is the three house of persona and everything else can be emulated but eh watever it happened and someone out there is probably feelin like this

and you are RIGHT it WOULD be great on pc with mouse controls and a speedier interface and netplay and skills haha i was thinking the same thing

they let you turn off the tactician after beating the game? kinda weird

persona for computer! i heard about that. 4 has been up for some time so i dont know why they are advertising it again but thats cool
although if i decide to wisen up and play p3 i will take your suggestion and run fes


i have nothing to personally contribute here unfortunately. i have not been making that theoretical fire emblem shell engine of mine but i have been writing down ways the systems could be constructed in a scopable and modular way. you know. for fun. i am a programmer!

ok I know this is not what you meant but
the mention of mouse controls reminded me of something
which is that DSFE (not the 3ds ones though) has a stylus control option
and since DS emulators tend to have the mouse used as the stylus you can say those games technically have mouse control
here is a video of this in action with warpskip because 10 minute video limit (I have realized there is no actual way to discern this from normal controls other than the speed of movement but eh it's already uploaded just imagine a cursor is clicking and moving things)

I do not know why the sound is so low but I tried maxing the sound in movie maker five times in a row and it made the video look like getting punched in the face

it seems the uploaded version is only at 240p I don't know if it'll be better later but if not then lol

anyway the only games I ever played with a mouse was like
picross touch and mgsv
so I don't know how good or bad these controls actually are but it definitely does work and probably gets better after learning how to use it

you WILL buy fire emblem: three popes and you WILL like it

fire emblem has died long ago

I dunno either tactician barely matters other than for slight affinity bonuses and afa's drops and even those barely matter 
you get to see him like maybe three or four times outside of lyn mode if I recall correctly
I think they just had no idea how to begin lyn mode so they made a tactician and then both lyn and the tactician became irrelevant at the end of their story
