bad apple!!, by alstroemeria records. we all know it. a masterclass in music videos and arranges, and the only reason a ton of people know about touhou. it's great.
both recently and not-so-recently, although kinda flaring up again, bad apple has been getting a mixture of the DOOM and we are number one treatment.
"bad apple but played on an atari 800",
"bad apple but beats 1 and 3 are swapped", and the like.
somehow though, a lot of them are super high effort and some seem to be just neat programming challenges for the creator. here's a couple i've found recently but i've seen them go even crazier than this. post em if you find any cool.
a big bonus is that it's such a good song that i don't want to stop watching immediately no matter how technically marvelous it is like i would with "bee movie but"

yo i've got a ti i gotta see if i can run that. might just be because of the blur but it looks super smooth
minecraft one is neat. great to destroy a server with because no way is the game gonna be running that well, no matter how many mods you slap on it
gameboy one went all out witha a boldass arrange instead of just chiptuning the og
and damn i have no idea how many apples could have been sacrificed for that stop motion one. really good art too considering the medium and that the original was all modeled

hell yeah i saw that a few days ago but when i remembered i could drop it here i had already lost the link

some morshu mixes recently have been just incredible dude i saw one for senbonzakura and one person writes up original morshu-based lyrics for stuff like feel good inc

maybe i'll make a morshu thread and send them tomorrow, upon which time i will also hopefully be able to respond to the other threads since i hadn't had much to chance the last few days
