Just to get a post rolling, the last session was a lot of fun and I appreciate you guys setting aside the time to join a session. Nice to chat with voices for the first time, too.

I will try to set aside more time in the near future, things are ramping up again with my schedule and I have an ever looming threat of a 6-hour exam that I have to prepare for.

But I think I can clear 1 hour this coming weekend. Maybe Saturday (which is my last day of quarantine). Would that be good with you guys?

I always dreaded the thought of having to take a 3 hour test because it was double the length of the longest one I have taken
so that's like a double way-too-long test length
except it's two times that value all in one test

that sounds great, i'm totally up for it. and yeah, i realize there haven't been any posts in ssssome amount of time. trying to think of new topics because i know there's a lot of cool discussions that could happen but i'm running a bit dry. maybe i'll look into making a public post about the place again so we get some fresh blood

but a six hour exam? that's insane, absolute best of luck preparing because anything that takes a quarter of a day sounds difficult no matter the subject

Been trying to reply the last few days, my schedule is getting to that point where it doesn't allow much flexibility.

Yeah we're still on for tomorrow 10am (JST). I figured Among Us but if you want to try the recent Touhou fighter I'd be up for a few rounds of that too. Although I would need to do some of the additional patching and such for netplay (since I'm on a new laptop).

Appreciate it, I'm feeling increasingly confident about the exam. But I also have a lot of duties leading into the weekend which may cut into study time.

I've been sort of dropping the ball on replying to things lately. Hopefully things lighten up more around February. A lot of shifts, changes, and getting the semester kicked off at some places I teach at, not to mention the exam haha

Yeah I've been writing several pages every day just as practice. The hand gets tired. What's worse is that I have to remember the citations, so that includes researchers names and dates of publications that I have to keep writing by hand haha.

alright I got some crusty windows updates and such because laptop crashed
though that means it will be in good enough shape to run any game up to skydrift level so it will be worth it probably
