eh the moon would affect youkai maybe probably (I don't remember anymore it's been like 8 months since I read any of the stuff and I forgot 2/3 of it by now) but humans have zero reason to care outside of the endless night the protagonists so rudely set up because most of them are in the village and the ones that aren't are what we like to call stoopid
the moon is just fake and though I don't know its affects on youkai I would guess unless it's something particularly major that this is pretty much equal to scarlet mist which blocks the sun and would make like
corn not grow and cause vitamin D deficiencies in the children or something
and also allow a few vampires to go out which is of some mild danger because despite their danger levels there isn't a whole lot that they can actually mess up
out of the games I know the plot of none of them are particularly dangerous or bad but they are asspains so eh I dunno really

walking backwards is honestly fine I think the only particular issue with it is getting pushed into a corner when someone is spamming down down x or something at you and not being able to do anything but wait because there's no time limit and BAM I found the soku flaw guys I found it soku is OVER

moon:
yeah it probably would not affect the majority of gensokyo, but if you were having a good time looking at the stars and then remembered "hey that moon is fake!" wouldn't you want to blast the chump who did it into next tuesday
it is hard to tell if it just affects gensokyo or the earth as a whole, but if it was global i can imagine that causing some major issues down the line with astronomy (still doesn't matter to gensokyo)
although i guess some magic draws on the moon if you're like patchouli or maybe marisa? no idea

blocking:
i've gotten used to walking backwards but dedicated block button would be better for those specific circumstances you mentioned which i think happen often enough to warrant it. also if someone jumps over you and attacks sometimes there is a window where it is impossible to block since you turn around later than they jump over you in most fighting games (that i've played)

i will go ahead and start keeping up with it later to inform you of any mima-related developments. personally i'm actually counting on my new theory which is that the culprit is blue kogasa's true soul that was banished to hell, trying to claw her way back to a world of the living and seek vengeance against the wind tribe

personally I am more entertained by the idea of dango as personal fake edible moons (you know they are fake because they aren't made of cheese) and the rabbits are either the same or too stupid to realize they've been living a lie
if they took THOSE away though ringo would already have dealt with the perp real smooth like

I would assume it wouldn't need to be the whole earth considering if any of the other effects of this incident or any other incidents reached the entire planet they would have far worse repercussions for it
the lunarians would only want to get to gensokyo in this situation and it's kinda like
detached whatever the hell from normal japan so unless it was somehow easier to cover it up for the whole planet including gensokyo I would think probably not
the biggest issue with no moon is not being able to use moonlight, the best pokemon 5pp mediocre recovery move that definitely isn't completely useless compared to any other recovery move and should be on every pokemon that can get it (in fact, make a team based around moonlight users)

down down x spam is a good block button use but if the opponent jumps over and attacks wouldn't backwards actually be better because you can move back and block at the same time
unless you mean in a corner which then yeah I am not willing to learn whatever the hell border escape just to play an average of one hour of soku every three months instead I will just play like wii party or something and make my mii peter griffin or hitler
honestly do not know or care enough about figtan game I care more about FITtan game where you fight a buff dragon or whatever the hell the third entry in the not-wii-fit-anymore line had

Thank you for teaching me how to make damgo. here is a rough draft of an original flavour of dago that is probably better than the usual flavour (pink, white, green, green, pink). 



Aeon is not included in this flavour because he lost at Ping Pang Pong. Aeon is like a shooting star because he needs yeast to rise like the dongo.

i dont even know what dango is. i just assumed they were some sort of mochi except

you are entirely right it isn't necessary to do the whole earth, although the worst thing that could happen is that some dudes outside gensokyo guess that something funky is up if they did do it. guys at nasa do some investigating then its just one or two or twenty "have to meet with earth's political figures" event. that is actually pretty bad nevermind

free half hp a few times would be pretty good in most rpgs but in pokemon hp goes fast and even without type disadvantage youre gonna lose that faster than you get it. in all of the pokemon games i have played (most of em from gen 3-6) i've never found any status move other than swords dance and the true hit paralyze move to be useful in the slightest

when dudes jump over you in a fighting game ive had it so that theres a window in which it doesnt even matter which direction youre moving in since youre facing the wrong way and theyre behind you. unblockable or maybe im just really bad but i've tested it

dango is basically like a firmer rice cake except 90% of the ones purchasable in 'murica taste like a sugar ball as opposed to 75% of MURICA!mochi being tainted by ice cream because apparently people do that
probably far more likely to find a decent mochi place than a decent dango place considering everywhere I have been with more than two japanese stores also has a wagashi place (and does not sell dango for whatever anti-dango reason)
if you make at home it just tastes like a mildly sweet rice cake but making it do the soy sauce is so much a pain in the ass I just mentally combined three experiences with eating it to convince myself I have had a good one

tfw odds to hit 90% thunder wave and 90% toxic are actually 50% instead of 98.1% (I have missed stone edge more times than you have used stone edge)
