... and it also makes me extremely sad. But as you most likely already recognized, I didn't have the time to come online here again very much even though I planned to do so. The reason is, that I became an admin on the German Touhou forum, which recently "died" because of a virus. Our main admin, who is the only one with access to critical server files, lost interest in the forum and so we (the two admins who are left) decided to make a new forum.

Now, after founding the new forum, I am in charge of maintaining it and won't have the time anymore for two forums.
I know what you might think now, but no. I in no way am trying to compete with Luny by making a "better" forum than he does. Luny has much more experience with being a forum admin, than I do, so I would lose anyway. Also, it is a German forum, so we are not planning to get members from all over the world anyway (they are free to join, as long as we can talk German with them, ofc).
Well, I hope you understand my reasons and won't remember me as "that guy who wants to fight our forum", as this is not my intention.

It is very hard for me to leave Lunatic Red, I really loved this place. I had a lot of fun talking to you and I am thankful for the time I was able to spend here.

One last time, I want to thank
LunyRed for creating this forum and being an awesome admin,
Adauchi, dango, DDdreamer and Baron Sengir for being great mods
and everyone else for beinging a nice and friendly community here.

I know the fun of being a forum admin, and I'm sure no one thinks you're trying to compete with this forum. German touhous need a place to be German touhous, right? We'll miss you, but yeah, no one ever leaves for keeps. :3

wat are you talking about? what I need is not other German touhous, it's people I feel like I can compete with and look up to as shmup players. I couldn't care less if they're German, Japanese, Norwegian or Spanish. as ridiculous and arrogant as it sounds considering my terrible skill-level, but I am the best German touhou player I know, so I doubt I'd have a place there. it's not about nationality, but rather what you care about in the fandom.

that said, I don't oppose the idea of a German touhou forum. I just don't think the forum'll grow too much considering the size of the German fandom. just saying :V

and I don't think anyone ever thought of this whole "forum compete" stuff. it MIGHT be, if yours was a international, but seeing how this one's open to every, but the German one only limited to people who..well...speak German, the thought of having the 2 forums compete is silly.

Personally, I have no doubt you'll return. I will be honest: quitting a forum is more difficult than it seems. I have tried many times in another one and somehow always wound up going there anyway :V like genichiro said, see you in 2-3 months, really.

Well, this was an extremely short absence. XD

I got my forum running and it goes quite nicely now. Of course there are still things I have to change here and there and we still need a nice design, but it's not like I still would be too busy with it. So I have time for LR again.
You guys were right about the fact, that I would return, but I really doubted, that I would. ^.^

Somehow this forum just attracts me magically, like a black hole. I would miss some people here too much.
