I'm not good at introductions. >__< .

Well, I guess I can start by saying that I have been into Touhou for about two months now. At first, I only started playing so that I could get on the person's good side who suggested it to me, but after spending a lot of time with Puppet Play and Perfect Cherry Blossom, I started to want more on my own and so I just kept playing. Two months have gone by since then, and now i'm close to being obsessed with Touhou. Never would've thought.

Anyway, my two favorite characters are Reisen and Rin, which I guess shows through my username and through my avatar and my sig. Reisen is who I picked as my starter in Puppet Play, so I developed a bond with her right away and it hasn't faded since then. My other main favorite, Rin, came a little later, but I like her almost as much as Reisen now, although I don't think she'll replace her.

Besides Touhou, I also like to watch anime, play video games, listen to music, and depending on the book, read. Sleeping is another favorite of mine. I haven't watched as much anime here recently, though. Most of my extra time nowadays goes towards Touhou. I actually found this site because people that's a part of this Touhou group chat i'm in got on a personality test binge for a few days, and that got me to wondering if there were any Touhou related ones out there. So I searched far and wide, and although I did find them, I never could find one that was well made. During my last search, though, Lunatic Red somehow popped up in my results. Since my favorite is Reisen, the name intrigued me... so I decided to check this place out.

And here I am. Not sure what else to say, so I guess i'll end this here.

Wow, it's a good thing you found this place. ^^ We have a warm, happy, friendly, laid-back, welcoming community around here, and you'll make friends with people here in no time! And since Reisen is also your favorite character just like I do, I hope we'll get along well! =D

Another thing that I noticed is that you already have a good amount of posts in just a few days. That's awesome! I love seeing active members in the forum. :') Keep that activity going!! We really have countless threads that provide good discussion except that they get buried as time goes on (and then people forget about them) but I really wish more members would participate in those discussions so we could at least know more about them. Reviving old threads is perfectly fine (except in the "News" board) as long as the post is completely relevant to the discussion.

While I was looking at the different sections on here, I saw that this place seems to be a tad strapped for activity at the moment, so I thought that I would try and help out with that for a little bit. This place seems really nice, so I think it's worth it to try and help out. There was a forum not all that different from this one that I went to for five years.... it died in like January this year. It made me sad because, over the years, I really grew to value the place and the people there. I felt like maybe I didn't do enough to stop it from dying... so it would bother me to see another similar forum to meet an end like that without me trying to help. I did do the best I could do there, but... After the admin seemingly gave up, and after the supermods and most of the other mods quit going, me and like one other mod was all that was left, along with one normal member. Those two eventually quit coming, and I was the only one left.

That went on a little longer than I thought it would, . Oh, and an early Merry Christmas to you, as well. That sentiment goes out to anyone else who reads this, too.

This place really does lack member activity, and honestly, I wish it would flourish again once more. There were dozens of active members who used to hang around in the past, but a lot of them have left due to countless reasons. Some have moved on, some have lost interest, but yeah, life goes on.

Sure, I don't mind to see various old topics resurrected to liven the place a bit more! I'd love to see some activity going on around here just like the old days. >_< Oh, and when you mentioned that thing about the admin giving up, I've experienced having those pessimistic thoughts in the past as well. xD But it's really unnecessary for me to stay pessimistic as it would bring me no good. Even though there's lots and lots of members who left and never showed up again, member activity never drops to exactly zero because there are still people who cherish this place and call it home. n__n So this Luny-dood will not give up and keep this place alive for the lunatics who love the forum.

It's sad to hear that the previous forum you used to go has died. =( It's the most unfortunate thing to ever happen in any forum or message board and I don't want LR to experience such a tragic fate. T.T

Well I hope you'll treat this place as your new home and continue to help keep this place alive if you like LR. =) I also do the same on my not-so-frequent visits. Dayum my busy work and real life obligations! >__< They're my biggest foes that keep me away from this place!! D:<

Thanks for the condolences for my old forum. It's what got me hooked on forums/messages boards in general, so I don't think i'll forget it too easily.

I'll do my best with the activity, but I can't make any set in stone promises. But I will say that i'll do my best. I'll post as it comes to me, and time isn't an issue for me, either. I have plenty of spare time every day, and spending it on my laptop is how I choose to spend most of it, so... LR is never far away.

And thanks. I've always been fascinated by the LRE, so I wanted to use it for a name. I thought i'd spice it up a tad bit and throw the "fire" thing in, though. That part was done in honor of Rin, but Reisen still has the spotlight.
