Hi there, I suppose you missed me. No? Oh well, I missed then. The point.

So, just normal absence. Lack of time, as the title. But...

FARST COVENTION AHEAD.
Yep, I'll go on a M&A convent/event/expo/whatever you call/say/hear/think/smell, first in my life. Hopefully not last, because it's a Halloween based convent.
It'll be on 29-30 October this year, and I won't sleep there, so I can come back and tell you a bit in this thread (but not now, as it's only/whole 6 days to it), also I heard there will be a Touhou panel and Touhou Quiz (4 3k fun) and I will attend it.

THAT'S why I need your help. It might be spamming, but I'll endure it: Try to send as much PMz with LOTSA various info about Touhouverse, including where to catch a specific Touhoumon, what is that spell there, and whatever, ALL. Y? Because the question can be about really anything, memes, spells, music, gameplay, fanon, character, props, places.

Any Qs and comments on the topic what my event will look like, Except the "Touhou Info BOMBS", shall belong here.

Gonna return to daily life and build myself a nice shack for this artillery...

Ooh have fun and stuff at the convention thing. Eh, I don't know much about the Touhouverse as everyone else here since I just play the games, but I'm sure you should remember at least one (looks at your sig and membership to a certain club here). Maybe you can just go on the Touhou wiki and just start clicking and reading. Maybe click the random page button.

Japanese folklore in Touhou – Do you know, why tengu are linked with google? Which creatures like cucumbers and water? Answers for those and more questions will be presented at our panel, in which we wil tell, what often helps ZUN in creating such a nostalgic game – Touhou.

I just really hope there'll be some cosplay or at least Touhou items I can buy. (Something small for the start, like a keychain or pencil... 0M0)

And Luny, I had none, and I don't have any. Mainly because [JAM] didn't read the title post carefully...


EDIT: I've just read the hour plan of the convention and I'm sad: that panel I've mentioned above is from 2 AM to 3, which means I can't be there, because I am not staying there for the night. Trying to make my parents give permission is kinda odd and without any sense, just because the Expo is placed like, in neighbouring city, so I'm very very sad.

I might even count it as rage, which should belong in the Rage Thread...

I did read it. Besides, I didn't outright say anything regarding the Touhouverse. And what does my post have anything to do with you not getting PMs? Not necessarily my fault if I did something wrong and it affects other people when you have instructions in your post. Hope you get to convince your parents to stay long enough for the panel.

Still, I got packed (YAPPON!!, as Nazurin'll say), counted my money (quite alot), and I'll try to have fun.

I tested the patch already, so no missing to Touhouz.

JAM, I just pointed out that it would be no-spammy (this is a no-spam board) to ask you write your touhouvarse info in a PM (as well as other reasons to talk to me). Either way, I saw that there won't be any Touhou quiz (which is kinda sad), but the panel stand there still in the hourplan.

May the Touhou keychains be with you. (if I find some)

It doesn't matter now because the con is over. I was there 2 hours later than the con starts, but I've stayed until the end. Without sleep. Is that even possible on your first convent??

That Touhou panel was dumb. The person leading it was like "talk more about Japanese culture that the characters itself". I wanted some memes to be named, some fun to have, not constant gibberish 'bout how to say the difference between kasha and neko...neko...oh, well something what Chen is! It's better and clearer to discuss if we know who's going on (in this situation).

But, rather than meeting terrible leaders of the panels, I've met people who write in a forum of Touhou site of my language! It's like: I'm going on that site only to see if there are some new posts, news, whatever it is, and now I've met people who do this quite more often than me! The rest of the expo I spent talking, discussing, and laughing with those newly made "friends". With one of them, we can do quite spectacular shows where we hum the same song, but in different tonations or in different points in time (in other words: in kanon or something like that...) The person I am talking about isn't going to be on another expo placed just like this one was: in a neighbouring city.

And I've got some merch at last!!! No more empty walls (although I haven't bought any posters), no more dusty shelves (although I haven't bought any figurines too)!!! More info I'll write and show in the Merch Board, my latest thread.

This was freaking epic. I should go to another con right away!!
