Hey everyone - new to these boards though I've been playing Touhou for a fair while now.

I'm studying Engineering (Biomed) and got introduced a couple years ago to PCB by a friend who knew I enjoyed Ikaruga. Didn't really get into it then, though.

Then, about a year ago I was playing Osu and came across Candid Friend (Nitori's theme) and decided to download MoF (I generally go for games with good music, and I'd already used Osu to find a couple games to play). From there I was hooked, and now I'm working on 1cc'ing the games on Lunatic.

So far I've managed MoF, SA, and IN - still working on the other three.

Anyway, nice to meet you all!

Oh god, what an impossible question, haha. I don't think I could possibly pick an all-time favorite

The song (and remixes thereof) I've been listening most to recently are Ancient Temple (PCB stage 5). Probably partly psychological because Youmu's always been one of my favorite opponents as I've moved up through the difficulties. I love how I can always imagine the sound Youmu makes just before she attacks that doesn't show up in the track itself ^^'

Well, since you've already gotten into the Ultimate Challenges, I'd challenge you to do mine. (Is the EoSD one really that bad? Then again, I tried earlier, can't say it was easy, trying to collecting the items in the beginning, which led me to run into another bullet)

For someone who only got into the fandom for one year, you're doing quite well in the games!
So how about those fighters?

bumbley is making me dl the fighters right now. I've played a bit of guilty gear and SF but I'm not very good at either. We'll see how that goes. ^^'

I don't think I'm good enough to do any of the challenges other than the extra last spells and the mokou pacifist one (they've both already been done though).

I haven't 1cc'd EoSD Lunatic even with bombs, let alone flying wildly trying to grab everything, and with 80-some tries I've never captured Imperishable Shooting. I've captured Mokou's other spells at one point or another but I'd have to be awfully lucky to get all of them in a row, let alone finally capture her Last Spell.

As far as favorite characters go... Have a love-hate relationship with Youmu. Definitely a cool character and I love the stage theme, but every time I move up in difficulty she owns me D:

I don't think I've ever captured any version of Hell God Sword or its variants before moving up in difficulty (I could probably cap easy/normal and maybe even hard now, but not playing those modes anymore ^^)

Edit: I misread your collectomaniac challenge - thought it was the whole game and not just Stage 2. Maybe that would have be doable, but someone beat me to it anyway

Wait, you were introduced (mostly) to Touhou by her Theme in Osu! Man, she really fits you, maybe you are her's waifu! but you like Youmu and her Myon Myon Sword.

Also, Lunateec. I hate to complaint about difficulties, but I shouldn't say anything at all to person who plays on the Hardest Difficulty. <-says Normal MODO Player

Also, you say you've managed SA... What do you think of Orin, St 5 Boss? Just to know what you find about my waifu...

Yeah Nitori is pretty cool as a fellow engineer. She even has both great stage music and boss music! Unfortunately, when I approached her, she said: "Gah! A human!" and ran off.

Rin is kawaii but also evil. I think she has probably killed me more than any other character and I often rage about 'that damn cat' >.> <.<

Oh, and I have technically 1cc'd PoFV on Lunatic but that was with wtfhax Aya so it doesn't really count ^^'
