Hello newbie here, although I've been stalkinglurking here for some time now.

It's just recently that I discovered Touhou. I actually thought it was manga series 'cause I started out reading Touhou doujinshi

Played some of their games but I stuck with the fighters since I can't seem to finish any of the other games even in easy mode

A few things about me, well I'm in my 20s and I consider myself a closet otaku so it is only on the internet that I openly express my love for anime. I'm also a bassist but I don't have a band right now or rather I got kicked from my current band 'cause almost all the songs I know are all anime/j-pop/j-rock.

Well sorry for the wall-text intro. Hope to have fun and make a lot of friends here. Oh and Patchouli = hidden dynamite ;D

Welcome! I think you'll like this place a lot.
You will get better at the shooters eventually. They just take some practice.

Don't worry about it. Skill level doesn't matter to me.

Even so, it seems you've gone quite into the touhou fandom in a matter of time. I'd love to play u on the fighters sometime. Oh, and if harder modes are ever troubling you, there are LOTS of tips in and around of this site so make use of it and become a pro touhou-ist. odd I dont see him saying aything apologetic to the admin, unless i missed an obvious post.

anyways welcome, touhou is that kind of game that when you start it will leave you with so many bullets stuck in your face you'll look like a renegade cenobite.

enjoy your stay, even if it ends up being a brief one.

Hello, new user!

If you can't beat shooters, a good idea will be accept continues, then gradually get rid of them. Always remember about deathbombing! (preesing bomb button about 0.2-0.5 sec after bullet hits you)

About anime, There's one named A Summer's Day Dream, but It's only... how to say it... It's a one-shot.

Guessing on your post, you'll visit Donation Music Box Board quite much, aren't you?

Anyway, the mood's here is great for making some enemies which you can duel in UNL Forum friends.

Also, if you are interested in the strongest things, search for the strongest thread in the strongest board named "Lunatic Red's Playground".

Heh, you're the first person I've heard to get to know about Touhou through a doujinshi. About the games, practice is the best way to improve. Anyways, welcome to LR.
