Hey all, I've been lurking here a few days but I decided it's finally time for me to introduce myself. :3

I'm Procyon, 19, from Sheffield, UK. I've been into Touhou for about a year now, having come into it through the anime fandom, image searches, Touhou song MADs, etc. I've gradually become more and more of an addict over the past year, and have even cosplayed as genderswapped versions of Touhou characters (I'm male : twice.

Outside Touhou I love anime, manga, science (especially Earth Sciences and Astronomy), space, animals, video games, webcomics and listening to and playing music. I'm studying at the University of Manchester - just finished my first year of Physics with Astrophysics, but am considering changing to Earth and Planetary Science.

As I said before I've lurked on this forum for a few days and it seems like a pretty awesome, friendly place where I can meet other Gensokyoans, so I look forward to becoming a more regular poster here!

I've cosplayed as a genderswapped Reisen (I already have long hair, so all I really needed to change was a skirt to trousers : and Mokou (who doesn't need an outfit change!), although I have considered other characters as well.

Dango: I'm not sure to be honest... Chen is utterly adorable and she's probably my favourite character at the moment. However, Reisen is one of my favourites, definitely. And Tewi. And Eirin. And I have a special place in my heart for Suwako as Kero 9 Destiny was the first Touhou thing I ever encountered and decided to look into (of course, there were UN Owen Was Her? remixes before that, so I guess Flandre is special to me too... but I never looked into Touhou at the time, so I don't really count them as Touhou experiences. : And Cirno's 9-ness is hilarious. And I love Yuyuko. And Yukari. And...
...you know what? My favourite game is definitely IN, let's pretend you asked that

and FA-kun: yeah, astronomy is a very fast changing field, so a lot of what you know probably isn't accurate anymore! (When I was a lad, Pluto was a planet... xD)

If my physics professors cosplayed as Touhou characters, that would be awesome. And creepy. Probably more creepy than awesome but still really awesome.
