alright ive got my rhythm games open and my assignments complete i can find stuff to post here now

it would be hard to describe what the king for another day tournament is succinctly, but basically a bunch of guys decided to make a ridiculous amount of arranges (~800) from a ridiculous amount of sources last year, and touhou was one of the major ones. links i'm putting here go to a playlist, the rest of the touhou stuff should be around the same position although it's hard to tell because some things like night of nights and bad apple can get mixed into any track. gensokyo millenium here is incredible, playlist link should go straight to it 

the three hour every boss remix. includes pc98, includes hifuu cd tracks for those not in games. there is not much to say about it beyond "open in a new tab until you are prepared", which is what i've been doing because i've only made it about halfway through right now 

time will tell, by travis stebbins of a-one. he's one of my favorite music dudes in no small part because of his massive contribution to english vocal touhou stuff. this is probably my favorite touhou eurobeat track, and i've listened to a lot of touhou eurobeat. reimu usually messes around but if she had a really good reason to break spellcard rules? would not be fun for those involved
(now, until the moment you die has also gotta be one of the best pc98 tracks)

タイヨウノハナ is a song ive been playing in stepmania for four years, and it took a bit to actually find it (stepmania ver. uses a translated title that barely exists on the internet), and it's not the same version. well, this one has animation i didn't know existed, so pretty cool anyway

xi-on is very good, didn't know they could make something as chill as this. usually i see their name on some 190+ bpm intense stuff
those parody ones are both funny and boppin, i think i heard the cirno one when it was released
pure piano stuff is great. i am slowly learning piano but considering playing anything like this in more than up left down right is very intimidating

i am not saying anything about all of them but do know i am listening to all of the guys you posted they are all rad

Listened to the Tastch Kogasa theme, I like the instrumentation, it's nice.

I quite like that jazz one from Xi-on actually. I may download that and listen to it while I study tomorrow.

I forgot about electro swing! That brings me back a bit, was quite big along with French House so many years ago. The genre sort of waned unfortunately though.

I think Marasy is the pink monkey gentleman. Quite talented with the piano, but also just as well known for the pink monkey. Some say it is the source of his talents.

shame that ZUN and niconico didn't get far though I wasn't really paying much attention to siivagunner around then other than suddenly watching like 50 high quality rips in a row

Always liked those Harmann's Youkai Girl arranges, haven't heard East New Sound in a while. Maybe I'll pick up one of their CDs when I'm in the right part of town

lazulum When you get the chance? Go for it on buying their CDs, they had some of the strongest influence on my experiences with Touhou to this day. I can definitely recommend them.

Checked out Let's Chu-Chu - Machikado Mapoze and Minimum Electric Design.

I enjoyed both of them! The first one with its lighthearted tone could fit for a cute and comedic animation and the latter is catchy overall

"favorite themes deluxe release", the thread i had always intended to respond in but always forgot that i should keep some of the touhou music open for it and then i close it and lose them, but not this time. i've got three bandcamp albums of massively different styles today. a massive bump

suite ad astra, a collab of super smooth orchestral arranges. i haven't listened to it all yet, but favorite so far is anti-gravity (g-free). probably because of concealed the conclusion. i really like the album art on all of these albums, but this one probably has my favorite

wither., an overall much more speedy and sharp album. a majority of the tracks are vocal, and some of those use both english and japanese lyrics. sounds like it could go wrong but i think it works. can't say for sure because of my far-from-complete japanese understanding but it sounds pretty. it's much different from the majority of english touhou vocal stuff i've heard regardless, and in a good way. favorite track is catch wind

somewhat responsive to requests, the reason i remembered to keep the other guys open long enough to make this post. i've mentioned siivagunner before but basically a bunch of joke song edits that vary between being legit arranges with all kinds of cool stuff, to stuff like kyu kyu kyuun, to being night of nights with space jam. they've also made a bunch of very good both original and arranged stuff outside of that context but regardless, this album has a bunch of the better touhou-related stuff.
a ton of people kept saying "touhou album when" so they put this together as well as a PoDD-styled trailer. it's massive so i haven't heard it all, but i've heard a lot of touhou stuff from the channel that was probably included in this. it's pretty neat
