Honestly, I don't know what to write here. I'm sure I'm like many of the other users here in the fact that I love TH and the like. However, I guess I can start off by saying that I teach English online for free, I am a musician, I am *actually* learning Japanese, and I spend most of my time online listening to TH tunes or teaching English/receiving Japanese lessons. There isn't much more to me than the normal otaku with manga/anime/game interests, although perhaps the fact that I have good grammar is a saving quality.

Having good grammar is a nice quality to have, it'll make you seem more respectable.
Hey there, welcome to Lunatic Red, Nanaki (oh, one letter away from 'Sanaki')[ seems like you're learning the Japanese language, same here actually. I'm not very far though, only know a few kanji and vocab. How about you, recently started or are you pretty far out there?
Well anyways, hope that you enjoy your stay here, if you like the series' games and music, you'll fit right in, so go have a blast.

You teach English? ... You'd mostly hear something different...Well no complaints here!
Good grammar is always a good trait to have, aru. And more than that, you'll be fine here regardless. Well, other than that. What's your favorite types of music, aru?

Actually, I don't know about my learning level. I know that I understand alot more than I can compose, but other than that, I'm clueless. I might know around a hundred or so kanji and I can read all hiragana/katakana without problem. I don't have school or anything, but I have friends, so that is good enough. You teach English? ... What's your favorite types of music, aru? My favorite types of music? More than all, I like rock, metal, trance, pop. and jazz. However, I listen to ALOT of stuff, so the genres can keep going and going. Also, on the metal side of the spectrum, I don't like very many genres. I especially don't like brutal death metal or anything without melody. I think melodic death metal is as far as I'll go. Anything close to death metal or grind just doesn't sound good to me.

That is why I reply in English when spoken to in Japanese for the most part. Conversations would die pretty fast if I didn't.

Sometimes, my friends make me use Japanese instead of English because they want me to get better, too. They'll say something like 「この文なんて分からない!なんで英語?日本語!」 or something. That isn't an exact quote, and it is probably wrong, but that is what they say most of the time.

Hi Hi! Welcome to the world of LR. I hope you have a wonderful time here.
Oh, you're learning japanese? That sounds interesting. I wish I could learn a language, but I can't. I can only pick up bits of japanese from all the anime I watch. :V
Anyway, time for an important question. Who is your favorite Touhou character?

My favorite is Marisa, but I love Patchy, Chen, Moco, Aya, and Reimu. Byakuren comes in close with Nue because of the thigh highs. Gotta love that moeness.

Sometimes I'll study for a couple hours a day, and since I am completely surrounded by it, I can't ignore it. Also, I corrected your post when I quoted it. You just made some pretty standard errors like "in" and "on", as well as some common capitalization and comma usage errors. Anyway, thanks for the welcoming.

It's okay, though. Even though I teach English, I don't really mind English errors. You're really good at it. especially since English isn't your first language. I bet the internet helps alot of people learn English, huh? Alot of my friends say that they just learn alot more from browsing the internet because they can't ignore it.
