I joined about two hours ago, then had to go leave to get a shot.

In short, you can call me Chdata.

Otherwise, here's a wall of text!

Anyways, I'm a SMW (Super Mario World) Hacker. Some people might know that from my signature if you recognize the name or game. I made my first custom boss for ASMT, and am making many more for A2MT (A Second Mario Thing). If all goes well, I'm also making a Reisen boss :3

I also do SSBBrawl hacking on my wii, but I don't make anything other than simple texture edits and custom music.

Obviously I'm a Touhou fan, and my favorite character is Reisen. I'm actually surprised I haven't heard of this forum till about a month ago.

I first heard of Lunatic Red from DoujinStyle, when I joined a Soku hamachi room called Lunatic Red Backup, but I didn't know it was actually the name of a forum until I saw someone say they're from here. About a month later, I finally decided to join!

I'm commonly known as Chdata. On youtube, Talkhaus, SMWCentral even though my username is Fakescaper there, and even DoujinStyle where I'm Udonge. On IRC I go by Reisen_Inaba or Chdata. Sometimes MagiKirby or a name of a character that'll be in A2MT.

The name I'm using here is kind of a pun, as the main tool for SMW hacking is called "Lunar Magic" and I'm a magician IRL. And this whole forum is full of lunarians.

I first found out about Touhou from a Let's Player named Raocow, who is also the person who got me interested in SMW hax.

Hmm what else...

Oh yeah some of my other favorite characters are Megaman and Kirby. I also play Runescape sometimes. And Minecraft.

Ok that's all I can think of for now.


edit: Actually, I'd like to know what kind of things are frowned upon, what the community is like, etc.

I enjoy watching game runs of SMW hacks, but more specially, SMB3 hacks (because I love SMB3 more..) but stopped watching them when my Net started becoming as slow as a snail.

Since you love Reisen, you'll fit in well right here! We have more Reisen fans around here. *points at LSR* LR is up and running for over a year and a half, and still staying strong.

Under Reisen, my other top touhou chars are:
Tewi, Rumia, Medicine, Remi, Flan, Shikieiki, Kogasa Tatara, Nue, Satori and Koishi Komeiji. (This is in no specific order).

Being a magician I naturally like rabbits and illusions.

I don't know EVERY Touhou character however, and the only one I sort of don't like is Mystia because she's just an excuse not to have Rumia in more games. (Mystia can even make it dark that's Rumia's power.)


It's quite interesting to see the differences between the four communities I'm in. So far even from the introduction threads a "personality" pops up from all of them, all so different.

I'm wondering how I got my image to be Tewi (or at least Tewi looking, it's one of the generic enemies in MegaMari that comes in various colors). All I remember is clicking on exclamation point and that happened.
(At least it stands out lol. Me trying to be origional, just like everyone else. Wait what.)
