Answer to Controller Q: Nothing, I'm scared 4 fun.
Actually, gamepads for Touhou... Well, debatable subject, but I can say I use gamepad for the fighters only. Don't be scared to use the keyboard though, in all the games...
And, if you are scared of Malware, (or the heck viruses going on), I can Scan Check EVERY SINGLE TOUHOU GAME on my PC, and Media-fire-link it to you by PM. Although it will cost some time. Well, send me a PM, which games do you want, I'll be sure to scan them Tho-rou-ghly. But if you are scared of even MediaFire, then I can't help it.
*The games will be English patch'd, to not make you worried about the whole process...

I might start a photography thread here because thats what I use DeviantArt for... besides otaku stuff I like photography. And cooking and camping... I love animals and kids as well
And Ill appreciate that luc537 when I get the XBox 360 Streetfighter gamepad which would work on my laptop

It says your location is Sweden, so if you lived in an English provincial town or in areas of our cities, then I think youd understand DDreamer *lol*. I wouldnt mind going to live in our countryside though as long as I could still have access to amenities in the towns

Well...I HAVE been to London...but...well...that's sorta it... Lots of cars Lots of smog Lots of underground railroad cars that were waaaay too hot. And some neat stores and museum. My impression of London, ladies and gentlemen.

And Ill appreciate that luc537 when I get the XBox 360 Streetfighter gamepad which would work on my laptop Well, I meant the Touhou Fighters, spin-off series, 7.5 (Immaterial and Missing Power, IaMP), 10.5 (Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, SWR), and 12.5 ([Whhoooo Insert Long title here, but the popular shortcuts are SWR2 and Soku]). I meant also that Gamepad is not needed at all. But well, it varies, different people, different gameplay settings so yeah. You'll see it when you'll actually get a hold of one game. If you want one game to start, just drop a PM with its title and I'll do best to give a clear-of-baddies copy. In a link. (Or if you have Skype, that would be greater idea, my name is 'lucpts' there.

London is a dump and the same goes for our other big cities like Manchester. Big cities are more likely to have decent shops but thats about it, and the London Underground is despised but Id like to go on it at an hour when its quiet. Its just unsafe to be around London at that time

Dump? Well...I wouldn't go as far as to call it that. It's not the prettiest and most friendly city I've been to though. In any case, I've driven the thread off-topic enough now. I apologize. Enjoy your stay and have fun ! *hug*

Actually, I've been to London, not far ago, in nearly Summer 2010.
That was, em, 5 day trip, I think, and... Well, "decent shops". I will go along with that voice. I was in the Science Museum (I'm still mad at me for not buying anything from there >_<), The grocery shops are nice, boat trips are cool (but lots of... *ehem* Oldbags to talk to... >_<), And I could set my time correctly at Greenwich.
For madness, we tried to beat our record - how many young people fit into the symolical Red Telephone Booth... Was it 14?
What I enjoyed most? London Eye, and its 2-3 Penny Crushers.
Besides, I have lots of souvenirs from that trip. And I lost my piece of plastic that covers the battery for my phone, so yeah, I experienced much of the good side.

You can't be too far away from me then! =D I'm in Sheffield! *pounces the other Northerner, offers her coal and lard, puts a flat cap on and sits down to talk about how terrible the South is* ...I think I get away with that. I'm in the East. Which, to be honest, is worse than the south. There's nothing to do for at least 40 miles in every direction. *sigh* Then again, better than being Welsh, eh? Anyway, welcome to LR! Good to have you on board!

Im the sort of girl who cant play with keys so I need a gamepad of some kind. I like using the Classic Controller on the Wii but using the Gamecube one just feels way too uncomfortable for me after too long, and I prefer to use the d pad to the analog stick
Do you mean youre normal for Norfolk, Arcanum Symphonis? Theres actually nice places in Wales but also dumps its best to avoid just like England
I wouldnt mind going to TokyoToys and Orbital in London and the Waterstones and HMV in big cities are more likely to stock anime and manga, but I think thats just about it for me there

Do you mean youre normal for Norfolk, Arcanum Symphonis? Theres actually nice places in Wales but also dumps its best to avoid just like England If you mean the "slightly-mad" normal for Norfolk, yes I'm normal. If you mean the general jokes about inces- *ahem* - ancestry, no. I wouldnt mind going to TokyoToys and Orbital in London and the Waterstones and HMV in big cities are more likely to stock anime and manga, but I think thats just about it for me there Forbidden Planet in Leicester was pretty much entirely for the true nerd/otaku - Star Wars, TRPG books, figurines, comics & manga, imported games from the US and even the odd gem from Japan. Too bad it had to sell off one floor, so they no longer do the games or manga. The bottom floor's been turned into another shop for Twilight fans, too. Ugh.

Ive never been to a Forbidden Planet because theres none close to where I live. This might be a stupid question but did they do Japanese video games or do you mean some other kind of game? Because I dont know any actual shops where you can walk into and see imported games on the shelves. Importing consoles and games is way too expensive unless you buy them from abroad over the internet. My dad might be getting something called WODE for the Wii but Im not sure which games are worth importing if I cant read Japanese text
Ive never been to Leicester either
