I know I'm being controversial here, but I believe you can be a Touhou fan without playing the games. *dodges inevitable danmaku and knives* See, Touhou has grown so big, and the characters are given only a framework personality in the games, that 90% of the stuff out there is fanmade. You can still learn to love the characters, enjoy fanart, fanfiction, the music, the memes, the videos, and so on without actually playing the games. I, for one, considered myself a Touhou fan for almost a year before I played the games, and even after playing them, I still believe I was one during that year. So yeah.

That said, you really should play them! They're awesome. If danmaku isn't your thing, try the fighter games. If fighting isn't your thing, try the danmaku!

And I wouldn't worry about liking yuri. xD We're Touhou fans, after all... liking Touhou and not seeing the yuri is like going to Egypt and not seeing the pyramids... it's possible, but it's pretty much unheard of.

Welcome to the boards ^^ And of course you're accepted here! Getting picked on is no fun at all but don't worry about it because its just school ^^ once you graduate and/or make some lifelong friends, you'll forget all about it.

So if you ever feel really bad about being pick on just remember there are things in you enjoy in life ^^ and that's what really matters. Who really cares about what others think they obviously don't care what you think XP Just don't think like that to the point of arrogance lol.
