LR never plans to add a RP section. It's been discussed before. The text RPG section is already a fun place you should check out. =x

Try not to drag the introduction topics out. I am against locking these threads as it looks control freak'ish as well as that there are people that notice them a bit late, but when it has been two days since the member entered our community and you are still posting welcomes, I think it is starting to look a bit silly.
